Speaking of God, I've been attending church regularly for the first time in years. I feel quite happy about it actually. I never thought attending church would make me feel quite so happy, but it does. It's like my little piece of zen every week. Who knew? Crazy, evolutionist, pro-choice, sinful, sinful Nina.

Speaking of pro-choice, I think I have decided to change my mind about that, based on what our priest said in church. Babies are babies. And while I think a woman has a right to an opinion, and the right to choose to have an abortion, I think if a woman asked me how to decide FOR her, I would opt for her to have the baby. If she didn't want it because it was a product of rape or something, then she has the option of adopting it out. If it's an inconvenience, then I would say that she needs to face up to her responsibilities and the consequences of her actions. I won't go so far as to say that sex before marriage is super-banned, but I think in this day and age, it should be easy enough for a young couple, or at least a young sexually active woman, to prevent such things. Just from textbooks, I can think of 5 different methods. 6. 7, if you include abstinence. Rhythm method, coitus interruptus, male or female condom, pill, spermicide. 8, IUD. 9, that pill that goes under your skin. 10, sponge or that thing that I cannot remember the name of that is like the sponge but isn't. It looks like a bowl. It's a... 11, morning-after pill. DIAPHRAGM. Thank you Wikipedia.

Anyway, yesterday was a fun day. Fathers' day. I bought Dad 6 different beers from 6 different countries. Apparently he dislikes Japanese beer now. And I gave him $70 to cover part of his new rowing machine.

No. I'm pretty good. I totally went out and purchased Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and the sequel. .. I mean, I will purchase the sequel when it is released. Also with Virtual Villagers.

Man, it's storming outside. It sounds pretty hardcoar. I'm going to unplug the laptop and shut everything down.
